About Lake Country Powered Parachute

Ever since I was a kid, I always had a desire to be able to fly.  In 2005, a close friend took me for a flight in he Blue Heron Marathon Powered Parachute, and I knew this was the type of aircraft i wanted to fly.

Next thing I knew, I was the owner of a 2 seat Six Chuter SR-2 (Pre Sport Pilot days).

I completed my ultra-light training, and then my Sport Pilot training.

I added my FAA Repairmen's certification in 2009.  

After 800 hours of flight experience I decided to share my knowledge and experience by becoming a Sport Pilot Certified Flight instructor PPCL in 2021.

Most recently, I'm now a complete training option by becoming a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for Sport Powered Parachute Land in 2024.

I primarily flew Heldeberg designs Blue Herons until 2018, when I went all in and bought a Powrachute Airwolf (912).

Over all the years flying i can say that I have experience flying most popular ppc's that were manufactured from 2000-2020.
